I bought a tasty "vitamin-infused" water the other day, one just chock full of energies and antioxidants and flavor and...
...calories.
It's weird enough to think of something going by "water" as being even slightly caloric, so it didn't seem as though 60 calories for the whole bottle, a 20oz affair, was asking that much.
But that was only one of the two and a half servings contained there-in.
Now I get that brands want to label themselves with lower calorie counts so that consumers, well, consume their products, but something about the tricky calorie labeling smacks of false advertising. 1/2 cup of cereal is what I take in a handful for a little snack while I think about what to make for breakfast. One ounce of cheese is maybe 2-crackers' worth. How can there possibly be 4 servings in that single candy bar?
I mean really - we're a nation of fatties. If you just tell it straight, in portion sizes that we can wrap our massive, overgrown heads around, we'll probably...still eat your product in the same amounts. But at least that small portion of us who are fatties at heart with a surface affectation of caring about these things would have to face our moral selves in the mirror.
...which, like our physical selves, are looking a little flabby, lately.

Common symptoms of puberty include: braces, frizzy hair, baby fat, having a crush on 8th grader Steve Julius, blinding body odor and lame extracurricular interests like the violin or Bedazzling.
However, if personal experience has taught us anything, it's that there are experiences in life far more awkward, scary and pathetic than puberty. Here is a list of things that are:
